Black Hen Music

Black Hen Music was started by award-winning producer and musician Steve Dawson in 1998. Black Hen is dedicated to producing music that is diverse, eclectic and that has some connection to roots music forms. Since its inception, Black Hen has released over 80 albums and continues to expand its roster.

Steve Dawson and Alice Dawson run Black Hen Music from their office in Nashville, TN. They also operate a recording studio where many of their releases are created. More info on the studio can be found at: www.stevedawson.ca
