Information/Write-up

Vancouver garage psych quartet Mock Duck comprised of Joe Mock (vocals, guitar), Ross Barrett (sax, keyboards), Rick Enns (bass), and Glen Hendrickson (drums). Leader Joe Mock would later become well known as a member of the New Age/Hippie folk group Pied Pumpkin.

Do Re Mi was written by band member Ross Barrett was their biggest local hit, and is an amazing mid-tempo, psychedelic/garage rocker with great melodic vocals, incredible guitar throughout including a killer solo from Joe Mock, fine keyboards from Ross Barrett, percolating bass from Rick Enns, and killer drumming from Glen Hendrickson.

Playing Games was written by band member Rick Enns is a nice fusion of jazz-rock with horns, drums n' bass, good vocals and hot sax solo from Ross Barrett.

Do Re Mi was comped on The History Of Vancouver Rock & Roll Volume 4 from 1991.
