Information/Write-up
"A wind-swept desert lay between us. My intent toward you is marked by staggered impressions upon its rippled surface. If I could find a full-leaved branch I could brush away the mistaken steps, in that way disguising my age, and seeming that much closer to perfection of purpose, but still no closer to you, for my history would be altered, and what then would be the stories I would tell the others not yet come along, or those weathered and so long waiting?" I would like to thank Dawne Milligan, Liz Wynot, Linde Zingaro, Nancy Pollack, Lorraine Roberts, Keith Maillard, Marti Frost, Maury Peterman, Ruth Busch, and Leslie Pinder for their love and direction in the hours of no shadow; also the CCEC Credit Union, John Oldfield, George Horie, Anton Haag, Richard Fahlman, and the Vancouver Women's Bookstore for leaving bags of money at the shadow line. The Best Chefs' award goes to Kathy and Dee; the Pit Stop award goes to Cypress House.
I give a special thanks to Gayle Scott, my guardian angel."
