Information/Write-up

Obscure Quebec band led by two of Canada's greatest percussionists Pierre Béluse and Robert Leroux.......the band managed to release just two unique-sounding long plays (both self-titled) before disbanding.

This, their debut LP from 1979, is the one that includes the coveted island-funk percussive gems "The Path" and "Ta Samba".

A great all-instrumental percussion-fueled monster performance that sounds like Roy Ayers vacationing in Jamaica.

Steel-drum soul jazz, calypso vibes, lots of "b-boy"-styled breaks, drums, congas, bongos, marimbas, bells, timbales....this is percussion heaven that's been sampled and edited by the likes of Luis Patti, ZooTime, Sofrito and several others.
