Information/Write-up

Inspired by the ghost of Jimi Hendrix, this resident quintet at the Apocalypso-Bar in Montreal featured Jean-Pierre Bouchard; Chris Cutler; Claude Fradette; Rémi Leclerc; René Lussier; and Ferdinand Richard. Music by Duchesne, Bouchard, Derome/Lussier, Fradette, Frith, Bartok, and Hollmer.

Le bloc démoil was part of a musical soundtrack to the film 'Passiflora', which was based on the coincidal arrival of Michael Jackson and the Pope at Montréal's Olympic Stadium in 1984.

This was the groups second LP on the Ambiances Magnétiques label, released in 1989.
