Insight

The finest Spirit Of The West album has to be Save This House. I first heard it when I was in high school, and from then on I was hooked. The first two tracks, "Save This House" and "Home For A Rest", are Pogues-ish, floor-stomping, traditional drinking SOTW tunes. My favourite track is "(Putting Up With) The Joneses", because of the wit and sarcasm the band uses to discuss the social hierarchy of society. All in all, if you've just become a SOTW fan, I suggest that you get this album. It's full of the energy and humour that the true fan of this great Canadian band has grown to love over a decade-long career.
