Information/Write-up

Clearly patterned after The Pogues, these Canadian Celtic rockers joyously recall their legendary inspirations in sound and attitude. Andrew Brown in particular uses his accordion and whistles to help provide the rakish down-at-the-pub musical setting for singer-songwriter Fin McConnell. "Holloway Jack" sails very near to Gordon Lightfoot's "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald."
