Information/Write-up
What is the Beaver Patrol? A West Coast institution, the brave men of this elite unit scour the beaches of North America, ever vigilant for the appearance of the elusive beaver. Once sighted, it is their task to alert others in the area to the perils of the alluring, yet dangerous mammal. It is their sworn duty to then approach the exotic creature, armed only with a plentiful supply of surfboard wax and a woodie wagon. Once within range of the beast’s seductive scent the men of the Beaver Patrol—the few, the proud, the evenly tanned—are doomed, unable to resist the creature’s abundant charms. These courageous men then pounce upon the cunning animal, sacrificing their own bodies for the good of the people. But do not pity these fearless few, for they enter into the abyss willingly, despite their knowledge that they will withdraw weaker than before.
Remember the Beaver Patrol motto:
WE SHALL CATCH NO BEAVER BEFORE ITS TIME.
