Halifax, NS’s Intro-Mental surf combo, Urban Surf Kings, present their latest full length release, Electric Buffalo.

Electric Buffalo was inspired by a vast array of artists that the band members have grown up with over the years. Some of the artists, expected and unexpected, that influenced the writing, production, and performances include: Link Wray, Dick Dale, The Hives, Satan’s Pilgrims, Teenage Head, Chuck Norris, John Barry, The Avanti’s, Sam Shalabi, Lenny Kravitz, Stone Temple Pilots, Pollo Del Mar, Marc Ribot, Nokie Edwards…

Everything from surf to garage to spy and more find their way into the songs.

Sonically this ranks right near the top of USK’s discography with lots of time taken with all aspects of the release. The cover art is by longtime band associate Ed Beals. Chris Thomas (Astro Surf a Go-Go) mixed the album, and mastering was done at Parachute Mastering.
