Insight

Unlike his other albums, this one was never repressed. Has many funk-soul instrumentals, as well as instrumental funky covers. Of course you can count many drum breaks suitable for sampling on this album. Billy Martin is, just as Frank Motley, an American-born trumpeter who emigrated in Canada before the turn of the 60's. They both worked as well as bandleader in the early R’N’B field and session musicians for nutritional subsistence. After many recordings for the London label, the band was finally allowed to do "their thing", resulting in this rare album. This was the first of three interesting albums released in late 60's through early 70's. Although this London label is not as rare as the "You Turn Me On" and "Strawberry Soul", this is still a rarity in itself. It's a Canada-only release.
