Saddle Lake Drifting Cowboys are originated of Cree tribe members from Saddle Lake Tribe #125 with the exception of Clarence Desjarlais which happens to be from Metis ancestry of Lac La Biche, Alberta.

This country and rock & Roll Band was formed in the year of 1977 under the leadership of Edwin Quinney as lead-guitarist · Manager and lead vocalist. This Band has performed throughout the province of Alberta, Canada, in various occasions such as rodeos, weddings, banquets plus sobriety functions on CKSA - TV in the year of 1978.

During the month of June 1982, Saddle Lake Drifting Cowboys went on tour to New York, U.S.A. and cut this album at Dawn’s Recording Studio in New York, U.S.A. which happens to be their first album release.

Also, there are recordings on “Live at New York” in cassette tapes on sale.
