There was no "band" named Lazer, I had a graphics company at the time (Lazer Graphics) and I just liked the name.

Bob "Bonzo" Estey (me) played the guitars and performed the vocals. The record features Doug Daniels on drums and myself on the MJ "A" side (16 track overdubs, we were way ahead of the curve at the time). The "B" side was recorded live on the floor with Dave Rahn on acoustic, myself on bass and Doug on drums. I overdubbed the lead after, which by the way, was the very first recording of a guitar synth ever (Electro Harmonix... I had unit #1).

The record won The New Music Review (Vol. 2 No.5 October 1980).
