Information/Write-up

Raffi:
Produced in Toronto by Paul Mills
Engineered by Larry Morey

Raffi is a singer, a creative guitar-picker and song-writer who has been working around the Toronto area coffee houses and the occasional bar for the last three years. He has also made appearances in Western Canada and played the odd gig south of the border. He loves to play to a good crowd and can't stand inconsiderate club managers. One of the cuts on this record "Play Melancholy Baby, Sweetheart" paints a pretty graphic picture of his feelings towards bad crowds in bad clubs. "Thinking Only of You" was released as a single by the Toronto group "New Potatoes" and is one of Raffi's best. "Song of Friends" and "Good Luck Boy" are a couple of toe tappers with a lot of appeal. In short, Raffi is a fine artist with a sense of humour and a good measure of sensitivity in his writing. Don't know what his last name is - you wouldn't remember it anyway!
