Information/Write-up

In wake of the realization that the beloved Winnipeg Jets would be packing up and sent to Phoenix, Arizona a star-studded line-up of prairie giants volunteered their services to gather and celebrate the life and mourn the tragic loss of a great Canadian NHL franchise. All proceeds from the sale of the record were donated to The Winnipeg Jets Goals for Kids Foundation. From Randy Bachman's tribute to Alexei Zhamnov to Harlequin's re-write of "Numminen", the album pays tribute to a few of the European stars and remembers the good times in Winnipeg. As the franchise remains in limbo to this day, little doubt there would never be such an undertaking in Phoenix.
