Information/Write-up
This lesser-known Canadian sextet hailed from the Geraldton district of Thunder Bay, Ontario. They recorded four songs for Thunder Bay's Gaiety Records in 1969 releasing "Things/Brown Eyed Girl" in 1971, two years after recording. The other two songs "Lies/Nature's Love" remained in the vaults until 2003 when Toronto's Pacemaker Entertainment combed the vaults of Gaiety for the second volume of their "Gaiety Records Story" series. This second volume was more focused on forgotten or unreleased material from Gaiety Records.
Gaiety was an imprint founded by Don Grashey and his business partner Chuck Williams in 1965. They relocated to Hollywood, California in 1966 but returned to Canada in 1969, setting up shop in Thunder Bay, Ontario where they founded DMG Sound Studio.
