Album / Title
By: Pepper Tree
Origin: Halifax, Nova Scotia, 🇨🇦
This single was released after both Tim Garagan and Bob Quinn had left the band in early 1973, but the presence of Quinn’s composition on Side A suggests it was recorded prior to his departure or released afterward using previously recorded material. Due to the transitional overlap during this period, the single may include performances by both Quinn (as songwriter and possibly performer) and Ralph Parker (as the incoming keyboardist), though it is likely that Quinn still performed on this release.
Chris Brockway: bass, backing vocals
Bob Quinn: keyboards, backing vocals (on recording)
Brian “Too Loud” MacLeod: drums
Paul Butler: guitar
Ralph Parker: keyboards (if Quinn had already exited during final sessions)
Written by Bob Quinn (“Put a Smile Upon Your Face”); and Chris Brockway (“Funky Music”)
