Information/Write-up

There is no sound that is more Canadian than stubbies bashing up against one-another. Joe Naylor keeps the rhythm with this distinctly 'Canadian' sound back in 1980 with his beer strike protest single "I'm Canadian Beer". I can relate. Living through these difficult times in British Columbia (before beer and wine stores) was trying. The parents became more irritable, the basement became a distillery, and we all had to find alternative means of entertainment, which was a difficult task in the GVRD.
-Robert Williston

Joe Naylor: electric bass, voice, music, words, effects and treatments
Sean McConnell: rhythmic gap setting, beer bottles, Dr. Rhythm, acoustic drums
Engineered by Dave Miller
Recorded at Max's Deli and Sound Studio
