Her breakthrough track, "Don't Send Me Roses (Dear Abby)," made its mark on the RPM Contemporary Adult chart in September 1983, ultimately peaking at #13 on November 26. Backed by seasoned session musicians, Murray's eponymous album, produced by Paul Zaza, captured attention with its pop-leaning style and confidence.
