Information/Write-up
Although credited to Tom Milestone, this was a pseudonym for Tom Horricks, who also handled production duties, whilst Jarvis Street Revue provide the backing. Musically, it is "rough" lounge-jazz. Some of the tracks are excellent and the album is mainly instrumental with no real vocals. The rock background is evident on Watermelon Man and Gimme Some Lovin' whilst the most "psychedelic" track is a version of Take Five, with a bizarre guitar solo that is hopelessly NOT jazz but sounds like a slowed down Keith Richards / Chuck Berry copy.
Our thanks to Graham Saunders for the L.P. title "Sands Of Time". Our sincere appreciation to Don Grashey and Chuck WIlliams for their co-operation in the production of this album.
This album is respectfully dedicated to my father.
