Herb Marshall was a consummate piano entertainer and vocalist whose career spanned decades and continents, captivating audiences from Toronto to Paris. In 1975, Marshall released his only known vinyl recording, a rare 45 RPM titled Toronto Vocalist, produced by Ira Stewart and released by CBC Radio Canada. This record showcased his exceptional talent through soulful renditions of tracks like “Love Music,” “Never Can Say Goodbye,” “Make It With You,” and “Get Out of My Life Woman.” The 45rpm single is a testament to his unique ability to reinterpret contemporary songs with elegance and emotional depth, cementing his legacy as both a gifted vocalist and a versatile performer.
