This is the second album by Jerry Jerry and his ever-changing Sons of Rhythm Orchestra. The previous album, Road Gore, featured Mike McDonald and Ed Dobek in supporting roles. The main JGW link on this album is Duke Bronfman, also known as Paul Paetz, who drummed for Jr Gone Wild circa Folk You. A less direct link comes through Blake Cheetah, who plays bass on this album and who was a member of pre Jr. Gone Wild band the Malibu Kens with Mike and Ed. Jerry still plays many of the songs from this fine album. Battle Hymn of the Apartment was rated #74 on Chart's Top 100 Canadian Albums of All Time reader poll in 1996.
