Information/Write-up

Originally The Munks were called The Exit Four - their name says it all-they dressed up as Monks for their performances. They were joined by Lorri Zimmerman in 1968, and performed as Sweet Loraine & The Munks for nearly a year before going their separate ways. In 1969, the band (minus Hindsgaul) teamed up with Franki Hart (using her original stage name) and Bill Hill (of J.B. and the Playboys) to form Freedom North. Kaye, St. Jean and Leroux all ended up as part of Don Graham’s band Graham County in 1971.

Also released with the same tracks as 'The Munks' on the same catalogue label number - Regency Regency R 961: https://citizenfreak.com/titles/318467-munks-hold-me-close-b-w-please-come-back-marie
