Information/Write-up

"Gave a whole new meaning to tampons", Tom Harrison.

The Curse Canada's first all girl punk rock band released their only single 'Shoeshine Boy' on their own Hi-Fi records in 1978, causing much public outrage.

Shoeshine Boy was written about the macabre murder of 12-year-old Emmanuel, a Yonge Street sin strip shoeshine boy who had been lured into another career and is unfortunately murdered by three sickos, stuffed into a garbage bag and dumped on the roof of a body rub parlor.
