Brothers and One recorded the self-titled highly appreciated album on Audat 477-9038, released in 1970. The Brothers and One all hailed from New Waterford, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Kenny MacDonald (15 years old) on organ; Kirk MacDonald (13 years old) on sax, vocals; twins Robert MacKinnon (15 years old) on drums; Richard MacKinnon (15 years old) on bass and vocals; Gary White (17 years old) on guitar and vocals; Anthony Feltrin (18 years old) on vocals.

The album is sought-after in the collector market and with a pricetag of $450.00 for a near mint copy, represents the most valuable rock album ever produced by a Cape Bretoner.

The album was produced by Grant Kennedy for Media Artists Services / Fivetake Group Productions Limited. Engineering by Al Feeney. Recorded at Audio Atlantic in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Brothers and One also released a rare 45: "Hard On Me b/w You're So Afraid" on their private label B.ONE Records C-1507 in 1974.
