Biography:
A couple of singles gave Canadian David Gibson some short-lived fame in 1988, matching styles with Cory Hart and Charlie Sexton, but to an extremely lesser extent. Gibson attempted to cash in with the sultry pop/rock flow of "Look Who's Crying Now," which did gain minimum attention on the radio and video networks, but the period was brief. He then followed it up with "Lock up My Heart," a calypso-inspired love song with a hint of novelty. "We Close Our Eyes" led the album into extinction, and Gibson faded into pop obscurity.
