Biography
Canadian multi-instrumentalist (mainly known for guitar), composer, producer, and record company executive from Québec (November 23, 1937 - August 1, 2003). Started his music career in 1956 as a DJ on Québec City's CJQC. In 1960 he started performing music professionally as a guitarist with Larry Lee's Corvettes and then as lead guitarist with Montréal instrumental garage band The Lincolns in 1962 & 1963. He then moved on to a solo recording career and worked as a session musician, as well as competing as an amateur race car driver. Founder and owner of Hugh Dixon Music and Cosmic Records Of Canada. He also produced the electronic disco outfit Paradise Frame in 1978.
