Heaven and Earth

Canadian group debuted in 1972. Featured Ed Roth on organ, Stan Endersby, guitar, Pat Little, drums, Denny Gerrard on bass, and Ricky James on vocals. This is the same Rick James from the 1960's-era Yorkville/Toronto band The Mynah Birds (Neil Young), later to be the funk star Rick James. Gerrard had been in The Paupers, while Little worked with Luke & the Apostles. A first single on RCA, Big Showdown/Don't You Worry was released in February 1972, both sides written by James
