"Ballad of the Northern Traveller" is a song written by Vancouver natives Patti MacDonnell & Jake Doell. It was Irene Butler's first and only album. She was in the Vancouver all-girl group "The Valentines" with her friends Joy Findlay and Miki Shannon and Nancy Davis.
