The long awaited seasonal album from acclaimed songwriter Lennie Gallant, Christmas Day On Planet Earth, contains 11 original songs written for this special time of year.

A joyful, fun and celebratory collection, it also includes songs that reflect the times we live in and planetary concerns for the future. The themes range from the moving title song, those longing to make it home in troubled times, the hilarious “I’m Gonna Have A Merry Christmas, Even If It Kills Me”, to a hospital ward on Christmas eve with “The Gift” (A touching nurse story).

The album includes an all star lineup of guest performers and takes you on an musical trip around the world. The title song, “Christmas Day on Planet Earth”, features the group, Black Umfalosi, from Zimbabwe. Other tracks take us to Paris, the Middle East, Motown, and of course Eastern Canada for a rockin kitchen party!
