Tears of Misery was produced by Chet Atkins and won a pop spotlight pick for Pat Hervey in the U.S. Billboard publication. It was a hit record in Canada reaching number 11 on the CHUM chart in Toronto and even higher in some other Canadian cities like Calgary where it rose to number 2 ! Pat does a great job of Brother, Can You Spare A Dime which also appeared on the compilation album called Make-Believe Ballroom Time, Music of the 30's on the RCA Camden label.
