Biography
Born in England, Tommy Danton started his career singing in swing orchestras before he emigrated to Canada by the mid-1950s. Triggered by the rock'n'roll virus, he formed his own band The Echos (sometimes spelled The Echoes) in Toronto, Ontario. He made several recordings for Canadian and American labels, like Reo, PAR, Dot, Sparton, Karen, Barrel, and Chateau between 1957 and 1961. His Rocket To The Moonwas first issued on Sparton 4-742R in March 1959.
