This is the first basement practice recording of AR 2.0, with Drew and Chris gone and Peter joining. Recorded onto a glorious portable mono cassette machine on December 17, 1981. Remastered [er, 'rescued'] in December 2025. As nasty as this sounds, you don't want to hear the original.

Ferenc Ryan Szabo jokingly questioned whether pressing Record on a portable cassette machine placed in the middle of the practice space really counted as 'engineering'. He later compared the December 2025 remastering process to finding a rusty and decaying artefact at the bottom of the ocean, covered in barnacles, and cleaning it up a bit.
