Foster Shaw's lone known album, Don't Waste It, followed his 1977 Periwinkle Records single and placed him in a polished Canadian funk, soul, disco and Afrobeat setting. The album was recorded and mixed at Quantum Sounds in Toronto, with Shaw and Richard Martin handling production and Martin contributing much of the instrumental foundation.
