Information/Write-up

Epsilon Knot was born from everything that was good about rock in the 60's, and 70's, It was pure, and it was real back then, there weren't any limitations to your creativity. Your image was who you REALLY were, not who you pretended to be.

Epsilon Knot has assaulted audiences for nearly 2 decades now. They have played hundreds of live shows, recorded several albums, appeared on live radio broadcasts, and earned the honor of being 99.3 The FOX Vancouver Seeds Winners, which has launched the careers of many notable Vancouver artists such as Nickelback, Mathew Goode Daniel Wesley, DeFault, Bif Naked, Faber Drive, even The Headpins. Their music has been described as creative, inventive, and adventurous rock, and their live shows as loud, raw, powerful, exciting, and fun to watch.

Epsilon Knot was formed in the early 90's by Dean Robertson, Brent Schmidt, Rick Speke and Jeff Juraski. They were four guys that grew up in the same town, went to the same schools, drank at the same parties and played in the same bands. They eventually migrated towards each other to form Epsilon Knot, mainly because of their amazing chemistry...AND... they were way freakin' cooler than everyone else! They added Rob Kondra along the way on rhythm guitar, Jeff Juraski left, but was replaced by Casey Easton adding strength to their already exciting and unforgettable live show. In 1996 Epsilon Knot signed with the indie label Turtle Records and subsequently released "Edna" shortly thereafter. In the first part of 2000 Epsilon Knot took a much needed break from all the hard work and put the band on hiatus while everyone explored other creative interests. They returned last year to add to the body of work they had begun feeling stronger, tighter, bolder, and more creative than ever before.

Epsilon Knot is currently working on new material for a new album as well as seeking new management and label.
