Son of Dave's "Wild West Show" took ten years to make. It began around 1990 and was finished in 2002. It was not until 2008 that Son of Dave thought you were ready for it. It's unusual. It's not a typical Son of Dave record. The music is inspired by the sounds of country and western radio, Native Canadian powows, cold winters and hot summers. The Alberta oil barrons in their absurd cowboy hats and western suits, Dallas, Elvis, Vegas, all the way up the Red River to the frozen north. From the past and into the space age.
