'Flanders Fields' and 'Poppy Joe' are two of their many songs. World conditions and the recent passing of their grandfather, a World War II vet prompted their release at this time.
A few years ago, we had the opportunity of playing Peace River, Alberta. On the streets of this town, we met an elderly gentleman who was selling poppies. This world war II vet had a unique philosophy and a charming personality. He was known to the townspeople as "Poppy Joe". He left a lasting impression on us. With world conditions being what they are today, we feel that everyone could use a little Poppy Joe's philosophy, so we are passing it along to them in the form of this record, 'Flanders Fields' and 'Poppy Joe'.
