About This Title

What happens when you end up with more songs than you need when writing for your next record? In Leeroy Stagger’s case, what you do is release them as a “secret record” for your fans ahead of the “big album release” in September. If the songs are that good, why not release 2 albums in one year?

This is the thinking that led to Leeroy Stagger’s 12th studio album, ​Me and the Mountain ​(out May 17th, 2019)​. ​It was written, for the most part, during a three week singer-songwriter residency at the Banff Centre in Banff, Alberta.
