New York City born trumpeter Billy Martin, a staple of the Montreal R&B scene in the sixties, released this cult album in 1970. A mythical, rare set of hard instrumental funk and soul-jazz, mixing originals and covers. With lush arrangements containing soaring horn solos, wah-wah guitar, Hammond organs and a killer rhythm section, Martin creates a uniquely Montreal soundscape.
