Here's a terrific album of ten originals, released in the late 70's on his own record label 'Canadian Talent Promotions'.
'Kathu Kreiner' has an especially warm feel. Kathy was a Canadian World Cup giant slalom ski racer prodigy from Timmins, Ontario who won Canada's only gold medal at the 1976 Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck, Austria. She was inducted into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame at the age of 18.
Known as "The Canadian Whistler", Gordy Lapierre performed on Don Messer’s Jubilee. Lapierre was inducted into the Great Northern Opry Hall of Fame for his dedication and promotion of country music in Northern Ontario.
Gordy died December 3, 2019.
