Liner notes:
Rapidly becoming one of the most popular dance and entertainment bands in the Maritimes is DALE NORRAD and THE TRAVELLERS REVIVAL, a four-member group from Sussex, N.B.
Leading the group as singer and rhythm guitarist is Dale Norrad, who “cut his teeth on Popular and Country music.” Dale was born in Sussex, on June 19, 1951, in a family of five boys and five girls. Dale has recently completed 20 half-hour TV shows on CKCW-TV at Moncton and has produced 30 or more radio tapes. Dale formed The Travellers Revival by careful selection and came up with a winning sound and a group with great personalities. Their popularity is steadily growing and this group is presently in demand by all the leading clubs in the Maritimes.
Other members of the group include Reid Leighton, who plays bass guitar, rhythm guitar, lead guitar, mandolin and violin; Carson Leighton, who plays lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass guitar, dobro, piano and banjo; and Mike MacQuarrie, who plays bass guitar and drums.
Their renditions of these country and popular hits on this L.P. are sure to win your approval and you won’t want to miss this fabulous group when they have an engagement near you.
