L'amour au soleil b/w Je crois en moi

One hundred watts of progressive impulse, sharing their namesake with the British sextet, the hardrock Quebec version of Genèse published this intense single for the Much label under the tutelage of their house producer, guitarist Bill Hill (JB & the Playboys, Carnival Connection, Freedom North). The group relied upon the compositions of Pierre Gauthier and Marie-France Paquin, both future members of the band Eclipse. Following the rapid dissolution of Genèse, Gauthier joined the influential Aut'Chose for a few albums, recycling the riff from "Je crois en moi" in "Ambulance Francoeur". The track was recently compled on Freakout Total Vol 33 by Mucho Gusto.
