Information/Write-up

Dick Jane and Murray Wystrach were both in the Coverboys, who had a single or two on Quintessence Records.

The Sexbeat record was recorded at Profile Studios in their early days. Profile was run by Billy Barker and Roy Fulber of the Scissors. Sexbeat rehearsed there and by doing so helped them to raise money to build the studio.

I recorded my mini-album there and Ultramarine recorded several tracks there when they were a professional 16 track studio.

Murray was the drummer in an early lineup of Ultramarine. Unfortunately, he had to quit due to family problems at the time. He played drums on the first recording session at Profile.

Ron Allan was the bass player in the Coverboys and went on to join Subhumans and the Scramblers among other bands. He was also one of the best live sound engineers in Vancouver and always did Ultramarine’s live shows.

Dick Jane: guitar, vocals
Blair Petrie: bass
Murray Wystrack: drums
