Celebrating Tom's 80th birthday! He grew up on the grounds of the State Hospital in Ogdensburg.
"The St. Lawrence River’s My Home", written by Jim Plumly, was on regional charts for 14 weeks and is still Tom’s trademark and most requested song. Tom and the band traveled the road for five years, from 1967 to 1971, across Ontario and Quebec. The flip side 'Transport Blues' was written by Ralph Carlson.
In 1998, Tom Wilson was inducted into the Ottawa Valley Country Music Hall of Fame: http://www.ottawacountrymusichof.org/inductees/tomwilson.htm
