Insight

Michel & the French Canadians, noted in June 1965 Billboard as now playing at the Café St Jacques. They released this rare Japanese version of this great garage rocker at around the same time. The song 'Cause I Believe' was written by Gerry Boulet of Offenbach fame. It was made before "Les Gants Blancs", probably one of the first songs where his name appears on vinyl. This is the reason why so many folks are looking for this title in Québec. 'Cause I Believe was comped on Wyld Canada Vol 3, Moxie Presents The Garage Zone Vol 1 and again on People of Tyme Canadian Garage Beat '66.
