SNEEZY WATERS
Sneezy Waters (Peter Hodgson) performs very few of his own songs. His repertoire is selected from a variety of contemporary 'pop' music sources and he has a preference for the country-folk idiom. For years Sneezy played in a group led by his close friend country singer Nev Hudson, performed in coffee houses around Ottawa, and, since striking out on his own, developed a repertoire of over five hundred songs. He has an extended engagement for Festival Canada in the National Arts Centre and was featured on CBC television's "Singin' and Campin'". For his CBC Radio session, Sneezy's concert series include the radio feature, "Between Ourselves", and the Ottawa morning show, "Town Talk". "Sneezy performs very simply and with obvious enjoyment; his songs have a jaunty comic flair to them, exemplified by Woody Guthrie's light hearted drive in "DO RE MI"—with its familiar plea among the down and out to "Go Canadian."

ROBERT ARMES
Robert Armes is a 22 year old songwriter working out of Toronto professionally for the last two years. Before turning 'pro', he played with a folk group in university. His training is in classical piano and guitar and currently he is studying jazz keyboard improvisation, which has become one of the strongest influences in his lyric. JOHN ALLISON
John Allison is a talented arranger/composer working in the Toronto area. As a horn player he is a regular member of the O'Keefe Centre Orchestra in Toronto under the direction of T.W. 'Him' McCauley. Some of his arrangements are works for Jim O'Driscoll's orchestra and for the Jim McCauley Singers. In addition he is active in a number of small groups such as Brass and Bandwagon, and his interpretations have become popular with audiences as his own lively personality permeates his arrangements. All tunes on this recording are the original compositions by John Allison. We hope you enjoy them.
