Liner notes
So the name’s a bit of a tongue twister (and long at that), but what the hell...the music on the CD itself is definitely a bit of a mind twister anyway.
No this is not a heavy metal CD. I don’t know what kind of CD it is and I don’t particularly care to try and label it. Like the title says...IT’S CONFUSING!!!
The only thing you can say about this CD for sure is that it’s definitely well-rounded. The music we’ve compiled is soooo varied that it’s hard to say everyone will enjoy every track, but I honestly think every individual will find at least a few songs that appeal to them regardless of their musical tastes.
I guess you could say it’s a CD for people with open minds who are willing to give all genres of music a chance.
These songs were narrowed down by many judges who had to vote for their favorite tracks without having any info on the bands they were voting on. They didn’t even know the names of the bands they were voting on!! The judges were simply given song titles by which they could follow along...therefore, it was a totally unbiased opinion by all judges. And with over 60 songs to choose from, many of the judges discovered new bands they had never heard before and some discovered they actually really enjoyed some bands that they would have otherwise never given a chance...most of which you will hear now!!
Okay, enough babbling (which I’m so very good at)...here you have it!!! Twelve CANADIAN bands...all based out of British Columbia (and in particular, the lower mainland)!!!
See ya next time!
