You can run from the country...

...but Country will find you in its own good time! I'm sure that's not true for everyone, but that's what happened to me. I grew up in Country country: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. I heard Country Music all around me and took it for granted. I thought it was nothing special. I ran away from it whenever I could. Fast forward to Montréal, Trevor Williams basketball camp, in a gym in St-Henri.

What's basketball got to do with it? Well, I was discussing with a friend how we could move portable basketball nets to the space behind the gym. I suggested a half ton truck. "What the heck is that?" demanded Bob. I had to explain, and thought it would make a good title for a song. Three years later the song finally met up with the title, and the rest is history.

How come I made a Country album if I hated Country Music? If the answer to this question intrigues you, check out the "Story Of The Album". The tale is pretty good - at least I think you'll find it interesting and amusing. I guess there's one way to find out if you think I'm right...
