Information/Write-up

Murray McLauchlan's distinctive Canadian-Scot, scotch-inflected voice and earthy, harmonica-driven composite of folk, pop, and rock actually produced several Canadian hit songs in the '70s. From Sweeping the Spotlight Away, most Canadians that came of age in the '70s will easily remember the likes of "Down by the Henry Moore," "Shoeshine Workin' Song," "Do You Dream of Being Somebody," and the title track.
