About This Title

From Canada, contributor of a number of stars to the show business firmament, comes Moe Koffman, an exciting young man, his flute, and a Sound that has reached and captured young listeners all over the world. This is truly Music of The Sixties, a sound of youth, and a talented young man and his orchestra performing it.

Moe Koffman headquarters in Canada, and on rare occasion visits the United States. In this case, Moe was invited to lend his music and his personality to this debut release for United Artists.

Past reputation has preceded him, and it is often with awe that he reacts to this popularity, which has become so great in the few short years.

Despite his popularity as a performer, Moe has spent many long hours, as a composer, and on this album a number of his original tunes are featured. Of these instrumentals, his ability can be seen in his arrangement of one of the all-time great Jazz numbers, "When The Saints Go Marching In."
