Information/Write-up

Beautifully packaged souvenir of recorded message by W.L. Mackenzie King, given to delegates of the liberal party of Canada at the Liberal Party National Convention, held in Otawa, Ontario in August, 1948. This package included a 78 rpm phonograph, a national liberal convention pamphlet, an informative brochure about our nation's capital, Ottawa, as well as a Columbia Basin Reclamation Project pamphlet; all housed in a paper folder-style jacket. Some of these items may have been collected at the Convention and inserted into the phonograph jacket afterwards.
